A convenience store and a contractor have been found guilty after the accidents. A disabled ramp was being constructed outside the store in South Wales during January 2016.
An elderly shopper sustained injuries including a broken wrist after falling. The following day another elderly shopper fell from the partially constructed ramp and his injuries included a broken collar bone.
The retailer was fined £60,000 and the contractor £40. Both were ordered to pay costs in addition.
